Great view, room, pickup service from the station and private onsen. All these with affordable price. Microwave and juice bar available very close to the room.

In room onsen is always nice. Outdoor lanae with table and chairs. Free transport to train station. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast and dinners. Friendly enough staff. Small scale. 6 tooms. It is a rustic roadhousr.

Love the private onsen at each room and there is a foot spa area with free sparkling lemonade (only for summer). Free parking available for those who drives here. The dinner and breakfast was fantastic and I’m fascinated with the amount of dishes provided in the meal and everything taste SO GOOD especially their sashimi is so fresh! Worth every penny spent!

The view! It was out of town but that's exactly what we wanted. The private onsen were amazing and if you book dinner at the ryokan you will not be disappointed. It was so beautifully presented and showcased local ingredients I think it should be noted that they do a shuttle between ryokan and station starting in the morning and I think.last one from station to ryokan around 3pm which is very handy. We walked into town for dinner for one night and found a very cool little sashimi and sake bar. The walk was all downhill and past rice paddy fields and was just lovely

Private Onsen in room. Free serving soft drinks, tea and coffee from common area. Japanese dinner & breakfast served was great. Ryokan is about 5mins drive away from town. So it is away from the crowd. I believe they offer pickup and dropoff to/from Yufuin town. For drivers. They have carpark available.

Amazing stay at this Ryokan. The staff were wonderful and super attentive. The room was within Japanese standard sizes, but we managed to fit everything in without too many issues (we had 2 70l bags, 2 suitcases and 2 small bags). The private Onsen was perfectly sized for 2 people and the mountain view was amazing. Both breakfast and dinner were outstanding. It's located within 5min drive from yufuin but fat enough to escape the crowds. I would definitely stay here again!

Each meal was elaborately prepared and offered a good spread. They were also tasty with a touch of authenticity and creativity. The place is quiet and offers a spectacular view of the mountain from the bedroom / bathroom+onsen / patio.

The hotel was built up in the hill, and the room we booked has a pretty view overlooking the city plus a private onsen. Dinner and breakfast were included with a very reasonable price comparatively with all other Yufuin properties. Dinner was unexpectedly great, not only the variety but also the tastes were absolutely delicious. They were willing to substitute other meat instead of fish for me and I really appreciate that!!

Nice onsen in the newly and tastefully renovated room, good view from balcony, comfortable beds. Very busy place in the front but once you’re in your room you don’t notice. Good food, overall very good value for money. Many Japanese are staying overnight for the weekend, so it does not feel too touristy. Friendly helpful staff.

We love the breakfast and dinner provided over the 2 days. Even though we stayed for 2 nights, Ryokan made sure the food was different from the day before. There is a free shuttle from the train station. Love the private onsen in the room. The view from the balcony was nice.
